MALE PELVIC HEALTH: All our physiotherapists and kinesiologists treat males, however, if you prefer a male practitioner please book with Lucas under Male Pelvic Health.

GROUP CLASSES: A 10 class pass can be purchased for the group classes. It is $300 for 10 classes, you can attend any of the 4 classes offered within 1 year. When you go to book your first group class, Hanna will reach out to you to sort out purchasing the pass.

CLINICAL COUNSELLING: Tasha Page RSW is a registered Social worker with advanced training in perinatal mental health. She sees clients in person in Courtenay or virtually across BC. Tasha supports folks through all stages of your perinatal journey including: preconception, fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, postpartum, adjustment to parenthood and beyond. She also supports folks with grief and life transitions. All of Tasha’s work is trauma informed and guided by an anti-oppressive and anti-racist approach. CANCELLATION/SICK POLICY: A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee. If you have booked an appointment for Gabriola Island, 48hrs notice is required. If you are sick, we require 4hrs notice before your appointment. Please keep everyone healthy and do not come to your appointment if you have any symptoms of a cold or flu.

Breast Health (Mastitis) Physiotherapy

Our registered physiotherapists are trained to treat medicated mastitis and clogged milk ducts by combining therapeutic ultrasound, lymphatic drainage, and education.


Pediatric Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

For children over the ages of 5 experiencing bed wetting (enuresis), constipation, difficulty urinating, or urine leakage during the day, pelvic pain, urinary frequency (more than every 3 hrs).


Pessary Fittings

Covered under extended health insurance as physiotherapy.


Kinesiology

Active rehab and strengthening for anyone! Please book under pelvic floor kinesiology for anyone currently pregnant, post partum, post surgical (hysterectomy, endometroisis, prolapse repair), or experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction.


Athletic Therapy

Athletic therapy focuses on prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehab of musculoskeletal injuries in athletes or active individuals. Your session may involve manual techniques, active rehab, or other modalities.


Holistic Nutrition

As a holistic nutritionist, I offer an in-depth assessment, nutrition support with meal plans, lifestyle changes, and self-reflection support so my clients can implement changes in ways that stick and make big differences over time.


1-1 Childbirth Education and Mentorship

Includes two 2-hour in person or virtual classes with your partner to prepare for birth and what comes after birth. You’ll also get a copy of the Birth Partner Support Guide and audio book with all you need to know. Learn pain coping techniques, partner support tools, breastfeeding techniques and much more.

Female Run Club

Lucas is a graduate from the Athletic and Exercise Therapy (BAET) program at Camosun College in Victoria B.C. Lucas has experience working with a range of athletes, from the weekend warrior up to national level rugby players. You will find Lucas using his knowledge of rehabilitation through a range of manual treatment and exercise therapy.

Lucas grew up snowboarding and playing competitive lacrosse, through which his love of sport and physical activity, as well as personal experience with multiple injuries led him to pursue Athletic Therapy. Lucas saw the value of exercise therapy first hand and wants to help everybody get back to their full potential.

Lucas works in a goal-oriented style helping you get back to sport or just every day life as quickly and safely as possible. Whatever the end goal, he is there to help along the way.

Maggie graduated from UBC with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. She worked for a year as a clinical kinesiologist before heading to Glasgow, Scotland to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. She played varsity volleyball for one year during her schooling in the UK. Maggie has a special interest in treating female athletes and pelvic floor conditions, especially the peri natal and post partum community. In her spare time, Maggie likes to run, mountain bike, hike big mountains, play beach volleyball, and explore new trails with her Bernese mountain dog, Kai, who is also a clinical dog therapist.

Teri-Ann is as a Holistic Nutritionist TM through The Canadian School Of Natural Nutrition in 2016 and has served women in their pursuit for health. She supports vegan, vegetarians, and meat eaters as she has pursued health by implementing all styles of eating in the different chapters of her life personal life, before, during, and after birth and breastfeeding. She received her Childbirth Educator certification through Birthing From Within in 2020 after a very transformational 11 month course that enhanced how she mentors her nutrition, pregnant, postpartum, and menopausal clients. Hanna Harrison graduated from Camosun College with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in June 2023. Being a new grad she is excited to gain experience in this field of work, and has a lot of interest in chronic disease management & exercise rehabilitation. Over the last few months she has been working as Physical Therapy Assistant, helping and supporting clients through the rehabilitation process. She is currently in the process of obtaining her exercise physiologist certification (CSEP-CEP).

Hanna is new to the world of pelvic health and very interested in gaining more experience and knowledge in this line of work. In school she focused many of her assignments on exercise rehabilitation for pre & post partum women as she found it a very interesting field of study.
